Travel & Stay

Traveling to Cyprus

Larnaca

Paphos

Larnaca is the closest airport to Nicosia, about 45 minutes away.

Paphos airport is about 1 hour 38 minutes away from Nicosia, however usually it is slightly cheaper to fly here.

Getting around Cyprus

It is worth mentioning that there isn't much public transport in Cyprus so the best option would be to rent a car. However, we understand that this isn't always an option so here are some taxi and bus details if needed:

Taxi

Downloading the Bolt app is the easiest way to get around, as uber doesn't work in Cyprus.

These are some additional local taxi services that we would recommend:

Finlandia taxi company - 22 666000

Bus Timetable:

There are Bus services coming from both Larnaca and Paphos airport into Nicosia.

Airbnb

Another option is to consider an Airbnb, especially if you are a big group. Anywhere in Nicosia would work as it isn't a very big city, just make sure it is in the non-occupied part.

If you are looking to stay near a beach as well as being close to Nicosia, you can look for an Airbnb in Larnaca (30 mins from Nicosia), Ayia Napa (45 mins) or Protaras (60 mins).
